Мета:

Практична – навчити учнів висловлювати свою точку зору по темі, використовуючи при цьому активну лексику уроку;

Освітня – розширити філологічний кругозір учнів та знання їх про найпоширеніші симптоми хвороб людини;

Розвиваюча – розвивати логічне мислення, пам’ять, увагу;

Виховна – виховувати необхідність здорового способу життя та любові до світу, який нас оточує.

                                               Хід уроку

Початок уроку

1.Привітання з класом. Організаційний момент.

T - Good morning, dear girls, boys! Nice to see you!
Cl – Good morning! Nice to see you too!

T – Who is on duty today? Who is absent?

P – I am on duty today. All are present.

T- That is nice. Thank you.

2.Повідомлення теми та мети уроку
Т - Today we shall speak about health. All of you know the English proverb “Health is above wealth”. What does it mean? It means that nothing is more important for people than health. It means that when you loose it you can’t buy it for money. It is very important to go in for different kinds of sport, to eat proper food and do it regularly, not to smoke and so on if you want to be healthy. And today we’ll speak about it.

4.Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу
T -  Let us refresh the words. Repeat the words after me – heart, head, pulse, lungs, chest, cough, temperature, blood, medicine, health, diet , tongue ( учні отримують  карточки з даними словами, а потім повторюють їх хором за вчителем

T - Cl).

T -   Now, listen to me and try to guess the word. (Riddles)
HEART   It is the organ that helps our blood to move.
LUNG   It is the organ of breathing.
HEAD It is a part of the body? Without it we can’t think, see hear etc.
CHEST   It is the front part of the body.

TONGUE   It is the moveable organ in the mouth that helps to swallow, speak, taste.
PULSE   It shows the work of the heart.
COUGH   It is the sudden sound from your lungs when you are ill.
TEMPERATURE When it is high it is bad when it is low it is bad too.
MEDICINE  We take it when we are ill, it is usually bitter.
BLOOD  It is inside us it is red.
DIET  We keep to it if we have problems with the stomach.
HEALTH  It is above wealth.

1. Усне мовлення (P1, P2, P3…)

T - Sometimes people want to help you and give you different advice.
Be very careful and say if all these advices are good.

• You should like sport.
• You should smoke • You should watch TV programmers all day long
• You should drink much coffee
• You should eat many sweets
• You should swim in the river in summer
• You should go to bed late at night

Discussion: 

I think it is (not) a good advice because smoking will hurt your lungs, sweets will do harm to your teeth, going to bed late will make you nervous etc. 

2. Письмо (Учні записують правила у зошити).

T – Write down the rules that will help you to be healthy in your copy-books.

Good rules to remember: 
• Get up early and go to bed early
• Take regular exercises
• Take a cool shower
• Eat healthy food
• Never smoke
• Clean your teeth
• Wash your hands
• Too many sweets are bad for your teeth

3. Читання (впр. 4а с. 58 )

А) підготовчий етап ( запис нових ЛО у словник).
Учні виписують виділені слова вправи у словники, а потім відгадують, яке слово зі списку нижче є їх перекладом, та записують.  Учитель пише на дошці транскрипцію.

     Б) етап читання та перекладу

В) перевірка розуміння ( бесіда по змісту T – P1, P2, P3)

v What should people do when they are ill?

4. Діалогічне мовлення (P1 – P2)

T - Use these phrases and think of your own dialogue. You can make some changes. Work in pairs. ( учні отримують картки з опорними реченнями.

DOCTOR	PATIENT.
What is the matter with you? What about your appetite? Take the medicine. You should stay in bed. Take the pills three times a day after meals. Hope you will feel better soon. You must follow my advice Come and see me on Monday.	I have got a terrible headache. I do not want anything? How often do I have to take medicine? Goodbye, doctor, and thank you very much.
