·        Мета.  повторити та закріпити вивчені ЛО до теми,

o   ознайомити з новими лексичними одиницями, навчити вживати та розрізняти їх у мовленні ,

o   навчити будувати запитання у непрямій мові на практиці, 

o   формувати загально-навчальні вміння: самостійно працювати з навчальним матеріалом, взаємодіяти в групах; розвивати пізнавальну компетентність, інформаційну компетентність засобами впровадження інформаційних технологій навчання вміння логічно висловлювати думки,

o   сприяти розвитку комунікативної компетенції  учнів,

o   розвивати навички роботи в групах,  контролю та самоконтролю, 

o   формувати навички усного монологічного мовлення ;

o   виховувати взаємоповагу та вміння працювати в групах, вміння бачити негативне та позитивне  у засобах масової інформації .

І. Привітання

T: Good morning, pupils. I’m glad to see you. How are you?

 ІІ. Організаційний момент. Підготовка аудиторії до заняття. Бесіда з черговим

T: Who is on duty today?

P: I’m am on duty today.

T: Who is absent?

P: … is (are) absent.

T: What day is it today?

P: Today is Tuesday.

T: What date is it today?

P: Today is the second of March.

T: O’K. Thank you. Sit down, please. And now let’s talk about today’s weather. What season is now?

P1: It is spring now.

 T:  What is the weather like today?

P2: The weather is good/bad.

T: What colour is the sky?

P3: The sky is grey/ blue. There are  (no) clouds in the sky.

T: Is it raining?

T: Is the sun shining?

T: Do you like such weather?

ІІІ. Мотивація

T: Mass media is  the big part of our daily life We cannot imagine our life without TV, radio. Internet, magazines and newspapers. They are a source of information, education and entertainment. That is why we are continue to talk about mass media. Also you know that without grammar you won’t understand any English programs, sons, films or some informations. For this reason we study grammatical material.

ІV. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

T:  So today we’ll discuss the topic “Mass Media”.

Your aim is to get new information about mass media, to learn new words and expressions, to discuss the problem in the class, to express your own opinion, to read the text, to practice grammar material “Indirect speech. Indirect questions.”

V. Актуалізація знань, умінь та навичок учнів Контроль домашнього завдання

1. Інтерактивна вправа «Мозговий штурм».

T: Your home task was to study new words from the topic. Name as much words and word–combinations as possible which are connected with TV, Internet .newspapers.(For ex: magazine)

P1–P2–P3–P4 …

T: And now open your exercise–books and write down today’s day and date.

a)     Your task is to write down  and classify nouns and verbs which are closely connected with “Mass Media”. The first variant you have to choose nouns and the second one  – the verbs. Did you understand what to do? Start working, please.

b)    Ok, Have you done? The first variant read your nouns. ….. please. Thank you ….. , that’s enough. …….. please continuo.

The second variant read the verbs please. ……

VІ Проблемне питання.

T: Before we starting reading I’d like to solve one problem “The advantages and the disadvantages of Mass Media” First group name all pluses and the second group name all minuses of it. You have … minutes.

VІІ. Опрацювання граматичного матеріалу.

T: Now we may finish our work with the text.

Tell me please what does it mean “direct speech” …….

P: Це дослівне відтворення мовлення особи, про яку розповідають

T: Make  the examples of direct speech ……. and translate.

P;

T: Tell me please what does it mean “indirect speech” …….

P: передає зміст сказаного або написаного, але не точні слова

T: Read the examples of indirect speech ……. and translate.

P:

T: Look at the picture and compare the questions the reporter asked the writer with the same questions in indirect speech published in the newspaper.

T: Питальні речення відтворені непрямою мовою називаються непрямими запитаннями .

Непрямі запитання, на відміну від прямих, мають такий самий порядок слів, як і стверджувальні речення. В кінці непрямого запитання ставимо крапку. Допоміжні дієслова do, does, did не вживаються. Для введення непрямих запитань вживаються дієслова ask, wonder, а також вираз want to know.

При відтворенні непрямою мовою загальних запитань вживають
сполучники if : wheather

При відтворенні непрямою мовою спеціальних запитань
вживають питальні словаwhen, what, why, which, how, where.
